President Kenyatta has said a Commission of Inquiry will be established to probe the Westgate Mall attack.
The President said Kenyans remain united despite the terror attack.
"I will set up a commission of inquiry to see where there were lapses and how we can avoid them in future," President Kenyatta said during a national prayers session to promote healing and national reconciliation in Nairobi Tuesday.
The Inter Religious Council hosted the prayers at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi.
The President said the terror attack would not deter Kenya's efforts to stabilise Somalia.
Some 67 people were killed and many injured after terrorists stormed the mall on September 21 and opened fire indiscriminately.
A multi-agency operation ended the four-day siege with President Kenyatta saying "we have ashamed and defeated our attackers".
